Arturo Jáuregui has been practicing law for 30 years. He earned his college degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and obtained his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. Twenty years ago he founded the law firm “Jáuregui and Associates, P.C,” presently located at the Pilsen Law Center at 18th and Ashland in Chicago. In every case, with every client he represents, he brings a wealth of experience to the table. For the last 30 years, Arturo has represented thousands of people in federal and state courts and has helped them improve their lives with his advocacy. His roots in the Latino Community run deep. As a young attorney, he worked for MALDEF’s Chicago office, the premier civil rights organization dedicated to protecting and defending the civil rights of Latinos in the U.S. He spearheaded efforts in federal court to advance the voting rights of Latinos, and fought to eradicate discriminatory employment practices and to enhance educational opportunities for Latino children. Arturo is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. He is considered an expert on legal issues that affect the Latino Community, and is often called upon by the media for his commentary on and insights.

Mr. Jauregui is a student of martial arts and a training member at, and past board member of, Thousand Waves Martial Arts & Self Defense-Center in Chicago.
Mr. Santiago has been practicing law in State of Illinois since 1986. He completed his undergraduate degree at Yale University in 1982 and received his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1986.
Mr. Santiago is currently a trial attorney with the law firm of Jauregui & Associates, P.C., where he has worked since 1998 specializing in complex, catastrophic plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. Prior to joining Jauregui & Associates, Mr. Santiago was a litigation associate at the national labor law firm of Seyfarth Shaw. He also previously worked as in-house counsel for the City Colleges of Chicago and the Chicago Board of Education Law Department. As a newly-minted attorney, Mr. Santiago also worked in the Civil Appeals Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s office where he successfully handled numerous cases for the State of Illinois before the various state appellate courts and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Santiago aggressively manages his cases to win. His meticulous planning and preparation consistently brings successful results for his clients. Through his advocacy as a seasoned trial attorney, Mr. Santiago has successfully secured millions of dollars in compensation for his clients. As an example, he recently secured a substantial settlement in a medical negligence action involving a still birth delivery at a local hospital. He also recently concluded as complex products liability case and secured a substantial confidential settlement for an injured elderly client who was dropped from a defective floor lift at a nursing home. In addition to his litigation skills and experience, Mr. Santiago brings to the table extensive negotiating skills on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Santiago’s competitive nature is also in full display in his personal pursuits as well. He is an avid cyclist and is a regular at local and greater Chicago long-distance road cycling events. In 2015 and 2016, Mr. Santiago completed the Vuelta Puerto Rico, a three-day 375 mile endurance peloton around the island. He has also recently completed his first Gran Fondo Miami, a 100 mile peloton along the Florida Keys.
Mr. Santiago is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. He is married and has four adult children and three grandchildren.
